Tired of spending hours plowing your farm? It seems inevitable that in order to plant and harvest crops, you have to plow your fields. However, luckily Farm Town has a great feature out there that allows you to hire others to plow your fields for you. But what all goes along with this feature, and how do we access it?
First of all, in order to be able to use the Hire to Plow feature you have to unlock it. In order to do this, you must have 10 neighbors in the game. Once you do this, the feature will automatically unlock and you can use it. We have an article available if you want some tips on how to get Farm Town friends.
Also, while the Hire to Plow feature may seem like it is going to be expensive, you will be happily surprised to hear that it actually is cheaper to do this than it is to do it yourself! The cost to plow is normally 20 coins; if you hire a stranger from the marketplace it is 15 coins, and if you hire your neighbor it is only 10 coins. See the screen shot below.
As you can see, the farmers can plow previously harvested fields. After using this myself, I can verify that if you hire someone, they will not destroy your farm plowing wherever they like.
Tip: Make sure to follow your new hires back to the farm to make sure you receive your experience. Users have reported occasional problems when they have not.

Actually, I have a question…do you really make more coins by hiring other farmers to harvest? If so, how much more than if you do it yourself?
How do I invite a buddy to be a neighbour
It is 20 coins a square to plow with your 4plow feature plowing 4 fields at a time…..watch your coins it reduces by 80 everytime you click it….on the other side you get 4 experience points instead of 1.
You have to be a certain level to plow on other farms – I am not sure what it is.
Since we can now plow up to 4 fields at a time for 20 coins, isn't it still cheaper to plow ourselves ?
