Farm Town Waterfalls A Farm Design Optical Illusion

Making Waterfalls in Farm Town is a fun design, and it definitely is not one that is easily accessible in the game. Basically, it is a design optical illusion that allows you to layer pieces of the river tile in such a way that it looks as if there is a waterfall. Here is an image of a waterfall in action on someone’s farm.

So how do we go about layering these pieces, and which ones do we use in order to make the waterfall? Follow these steps below.

How to create a Waterfall in Farm Town

  1. Take a river corner, preferably one shaped like so: /\
  2. Place four dirt paths on top of it in order to cover it

  4. Place another river corner on top of the dirt paths, slightly off center from the first river corner so you get the waterfall look

  6. Remove the dirt from the river corner

  8. Repeat as many times depending on how tall you would like your waterfall

Having trouble building your waterfalls? Check to make sure you have spaces between fields turned off in your settings menu. Also, try placing your dirth paths elsewhere in your farm and them moving them on top of the waterfall instead of placing them directly from the store.

MAM, try refreshing the page, same thing happaned to me and when I refreshed the site I was able to move them.

JEANETTE, if you are trying to make it sideways it won’t work, it has to be straight down or the ripple effect but it will not work with the corners…

Try hiding the river corner before you lay your next one on the dirt. It’s the only way that worked for me.

I made 2 waterfalls just a few days ago on my farmtown farm. Today I tried to make another one and it won’t let me layer the dirt on top of the river corners. Is it just me or did they change something that does not allow you to do this anymore.

I just keep losing my dirt paths and then there is a few of them that will not move .sell.hide or delete what can I do

unfortunately the only way i got around the problem your having is having to refresh my page everytime i needed to move the dirt paths.

I’m having trouble with my waterfall. I’m down to the bottom of the waterfall trying to lay 4 dirt paths & the river corners. I keep seeing red instead of green & it’s the right corner paths. I’ve been trying for days to no avail. Any suggestions on how to get out of being stuck so I can actually finish building my waterfall. Feel free to add me as friend & send a farmtown neighbor request & I’ll show you what I’m talking about.

did you move all 4 of the dirt paths before trying to add the next one?
